A Belfast firm has been named Global Britain Business of the Year at the BCC’s Chamber Business Awards.
The awards, now in their 22nd year, are one of the showpieces of the business calendar, highlighting the role of firms in delivering growth, prosperity and innovation across the UK.
The Global Britain Award, supported by UK Export Finance (UKEF), recognises a business that has demonstrated significant and sustained international growth through a clear understanding of overseas markets.
Sensoteq, a member of Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry, won the award after impressing judges with its ‘impressive international business, showing growth in revenue, people and customers across all continents.”
Founded in 2016, Sensoteq specialises in wireless sensing technologies used for condition monitoring. While committed to boosting the economy of Northern Ireland through employment and supply chains, the firm also aspires to export 80% of sales beyond the UK and Ireland.
Sensoteq will pick up its award at a ceremony at the London Stock Exchange on 26 November – where it will also compete for the Winner of Winners Award alongside other category champions.
