A Cambridge based bus operator has been named ‘Winner of Winners’ at the British Chambers of Commerce Chamber Business Awards 2025.
Stagecoach East, a proud member of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, was praised by judges for its impressive record of sustainable growth alongside the “creative and inspiring difference it makes to its local economy.”
The Chamber Business Awards, now in their 22nd year, are one of the showpieces of the business calendar, highlighting the role firms play delivering growth, prosperity and innovation across the UK. The awards are brought in partnership with HP Life Intel and UK Export Finance.
Stagecoach East, part of the national Stagecoach Group, operates services in Cambridge, Huntingdon, Peterborough and Bedford. The firm employs 800 people in the region.
Judges commended the firm’s Vision 2029 strategy which aligns commercial success with social value, alongside initiatives to improve safety and wellbeing in communities.
