BCC comments on funding boost for bus services

Welcoming the Prime Minister’s announcement of new funding for regional bus links, BCC Director General Adam Marshall said:

“Buses matter to the success of our business communities, from high streets to industrial estates. Better bus services mean less congestion, less pollution, and more reliable journeys.

“Business communities will want to work with central government, local government and bus operators to ensure that this new funding makes a real difference on the ground.”
