Sylwia Malkowska, an Export Documentation Officer at Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, has won the British Chambers of Commerce Rising Star Award 2026.
The Chamber Awards are a highlight of the business calendar, celebrating the people and organisations that strengthen the Chamber Network and help companies grow and prosper.
This year’s awards have been organised with support by Quest. It provides outsourced HR, health and safety, employment law and business compliance support to organisations across the UK.
Sylwia was recognised for her exceptional career development, determination and contribution to Staffordshire businesses trading around the world. After first joining the Chamber as a cleaner, she successfully applied for a receptionist role and quickly impressed colleagues with her commitment and work ethic.
Within months, she progressed into the International Trade team, taking on a specialist role supporting export documentation. She has continued to build her expertise through training in EUR1 documentation and certification procedures, while embracing new skills and challenges in a demanding area of Chamber work.
On receiving her award, Sylwia said:
