Alator data services

Alator has created a transformational digital solution – TrakAer – that is already improving lives and protecting communities. Developed to address the widespread issue of damp, mould, and poor indoor air quality in social housing, TrakAer uses real-time sensor data to provide clear, actionable insights. It helps housing providers identify environmental risks, understand root causes, support tenants, and intervene early – before harm is done.
What sets TrakAer apart is the depth of environmental expertise behind it. With a background in environmental science, industrial emissions monitoring, and data analytics, the Alator team brings a level of insight not typically seen in housing. That expertise is embedded in TrakAer’s design – from how it captures and processes environmental data, to how it pinpoints the root causes of poor indoor conditions. TrakAer goes beyond surface symptoms to give housing providers a clear picture of what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what to do next.
It was developed in direct response to the tragic death of Awaab Ishak, and the urgent need for housing providers to move from reactive repairs to proactive environmental prevention. Using live data on humidity, temperature, and CO₂, TrakAer highlights properties where unhealthy conditions may develop. It supports early action, evidence-based decisions, and compliance with the responsibilities introduced through Awaab’s Law. Tenants also receive tailored, practical guidance to help them improve their home environment and engage with their landlord on the basis of shared evidence.
This is digital transformation in action – replacing reactive processes and fragmented data with continuous insight, transparency, and faster interventions.
But Alator hasn’t stopped there. The same environmental and data science expertise that powers TrakAer has also been applied to another challenge: real-time greenhouse gas emissions monitoring. This led to the creation of Verion, a system designed for industrial and infrastructure sites. Verion continuously monitors gases such as methane and nitrous oxide, giving operators high-resolution data to manage environmental risks, reduce fugitive emissions, and meet regulatory obligations.
TrakAer and Verion are built on the same principle: using environmental intelligence to drive meaningful change. One protects people inside homes. The other supports climate action outside of them.
Together, they show how Alator is combining digital innovation with environmental knowledge to create solutions that are technically robust, socially responsible, and genuinely impactful.
Above all, Alator remains committed to inclusion, clarity, and accessibility. TrakAer and Verion simplify complex data so that it can be understood and acted on – whether by a housing officer, a tenant, or an industrial operator. These tools don’t just measure – they inform, empower, and protect.
Alator represents the best of digital innovation – grounded in science, driven by purpose, and designed to improve both human and environmental outcomes.

Company Growth
On the back of the success of the brewery site and events, Dal then set his sights on expanding both the range of products on offer and the footprint of the business. In December 2021, Dal agreed a 20-year lease on Christchurch Spire in Coventry city centre. The unique venue serves Dhillon’s beers and ales on tap, as well as offering hot drinks and food, to create a family friendly environment.
Dhillon’s next venture was the Sky Blue Tavern, a brand-new sports bar in the city centre, in partnership with Coventry City Football Club. The Tavern is a hub for Sky Blues fans to meet and enjoy a drink, whether on matchdays or non-matchdays, and helps to generate revenue and support for the club. As one of the only dedicated sports bars in Coventry, football and sports fans can watch the latest action on big screens and in individual booths.
Dhillon’s Brewery have now also secured several catering contracts, including with Historic Coventry Trust, where they provide food and beverage operations at the historic Drapers’ Hall, as well as at other Trust locations.
The company’s vision and long-term growth plan continues to be focused on its close association with Coventry whilst securing further locations and contracts, to build a sustainable, profitable business model whilst continuing Dal’s original passion for brewing beautifully crafted beer.
