Since 1941, Doncaster Chamber has been representing the interests of local businesses. It accomplishes this through various lobbying & advocacy activities, by fostering a sense of community amongst its members, by providing vital services and by engaging with the education and skill system.
Punching well above its weight, the award-winning organisation has delivered a number of great things for the borough. In recent years, it has spearheaded the campaign for Doncaster to get City Status, chaired the bid for the establishment of a University Technical College (UTC), helped get the Great Yorkshire Way off the ground, led with the development of the South Yorkshire LSIP and been a prominent voice in the fight to save Doncaster Sheffield Airport.
In addition to this, Doncaster Chamber also uses its platform to connect members up with their political representatives and national policymakers, to stage important events where the issues of the day can be discussed in depth, and to amplify the voice of the business community on the things that matter most to them.
