Trade Support

Through our expansive Network of Accredited Chambers of Commerce, the BCC proudly supports trade at every level.

Tap into the potential of our Chamber Network, where over 350 qualified specialists work every day to help business and international trade flourish. Each Accredited Chamber provides local businesses with access to a range of services to support that aim.

As the way we trade with other nations evolves, the BCC leads the charge in understanding and navigating these changes on behalf of business. We work with relevant government departments to provide practical advice and support to guide businesses through a complex, ever-changing trade landscape.

The BCC is uniquely positioned to engage with business organisations across the globe through the World Trade Organisation, the World Customs Organisation, and the World Chambers Federation, where the UK plays a leading role representing the interest of UK exporters and importers. Businesses can also draw on our International Network, who stand ready to provide a ‘soft landing’ for UK firms arriving in a trading location across the world.

As keen advocates of international trade, we’re proud to champion and shape the discourse through expert webinars and events, as well as the Global Annual Conference. At the BCC, international trade is always on the agenda.

Always at the forefront of trade intelligence, the BCC also produces a wide range of publications and research on trade, with an emphasis on exploring the latest trends and issues, as well as key markets important to UK business around the world.

Across the UK, Chambers of Commerce are the front door to international trade at a local level. In many regions, Chambers work closely with the Department for International Trade to empower firms with direct advice and support, as well as offer commercial services that help them trade.

Additionally, Accredited Chambers work with devolved governments, LEPs, local councils and others to develop new forms of support for business and export growth. In the devolved administrations, our Chambers partner with enterprise organisations to provide businesses with enhanced support.
