During 2020 BCC and Mobile UK have worked in partnership on an initiative to  underline the importance of mobile coverage for firms throughout and beyond lockdown to maintain or restart their operations - and why the government should accelerate solutions to improve poor connectivity across the UK.  


The national survey conducted in partnership with Mobile UK urged the government to remove barriers to enhancing mobile coverage, like relaxing planning permission for taller mobile phone masts.
