The Council for Business with Britain (CBB) was established with the merger of The Sri Lanka – United Kingdom Business Council and the British Business Association (BBA) on 18th July 2000. The objective of this merger was to enhance the promotion of two-way trade between Sri Lanka and the UK and to maintain and foster a harmonious business relationship between the two countries.
The Council also promotes the exchange of information on trade and investment, and by supporting the business community, which the organization represents, by serving as the recognized representative of the members in matters concerning business relations with Sri Lanka or the United Kingdom.
