Titania Ltd is a security and compliance software development company based in Worcester. Since opening their offices in December 2010, the company has expanded at a rapid pace, now employing 25 staff and supplying software to over 60 countries worldwide.
Winning the Award
Ian Whiting CEO at Titania said, ‘We were honoured and delighted to be named the Chamber Awards Small Business of the Year, especially against such strong competition from the other finalists. Over the past 4 years we have worked so hard in every area of our business and it is wonderful to receive recognition for this.”
We would like to thank our local Chamber in Herefordshire and Worcestershire for all their support over the years and on the awards night, and NFU Mutual for their sponsorship of the award and kind words and support on the night. It really was an exciting day in Titania’s history.’
Entering the Chamber Awards
Ruth Inglis, Sales & Marketing Manager said, ‘The entry process for the Chamber Awards really makes you think about the challenges and triumphs that your company has faced. It is a great feeling to see all that we have achieved down on paper and even better to have it read and appreciated by others. Writing the application really helped to solidify ideas around where the company has been and where it is going, our growth plans for the future and where we are aiming to be. This is something that can often get lost during the day to day bustle of running a fast growing SME.’
After the awards
Having recently purchased a new premise four times the size of what we had before, our future plans are aimed towards growth. Since winning the award in November we have already employed 3 new staff, one of which is an apprentice in our development team. We also have plans to release a brand new product next year that will increase our product portfolio and revenue while also making the most of being named the Chamber Awards Small Business of the Year!
