Since then Chamber membership has grown significantly and it now represents around one third of the county’s workforce. It enjoys the enviable reputation of being the largest business support agency in the county.
In July 2013 it established a new Chamber in Milton Keynes which now represents 20% of the area’s workforce.
Together they have won the Excellence in Membership Services award for the past three years and the Chamber of the Year award in 2015.
Their wide range of Membership benefits have been specifically designed to enable businesses of any size to make the most of their potential. They employ a continuous strategy of investment for the benefit of their members.

Why did the Chamber enter the Chamber Business Awards?
We entered the Awards because we are proud of our fantastic results and wanted to share our success with others. We wanted to highlight our proactive culture and the contribution that is made by all our staff.
Winning the award has boosted our profile within the accredited Chamber network. We have gone on to share best practice methods with more than a dozen Chambers in the UK and have been invited to run Membership Workshops with several overseas Chambers. It has also improved our visibility within the business community and has led to an increase in membership enquiries.
Why should businesses enter?
The Awards can give a fantastic boost to a business’ profile. Winning a regional award enables a business to say it is the best in its region and that it has the honour of being a national finalist. Businesses that go on to win a national award and have the kudos of saying they have been judged to be the best in the UK by the largest business support organisation in the country. This is brilliant recognition and can lead to a wealth of positive marketing and PR opportunities which, if taken advantage of, can drive the business further forward and strengthen its reputation.
