Tuesday 15 October: Get to know your International Chambers

Time: 08:30 - 17:00, with dinner at 19:00

Venue: Lloyd’s, One Lime Street, London EC3M 7HA

Join BCC for an exciting event which will bring together senior teams in the Chamber Network from across the UK and overseas. The day will cover 3 key themes:

International Trade:

  • Creating an integrated framework for 2-way trade and connectivity across the overseas and UK network.
  • Understanding Chamber markets and offer.

Capacity building and sustainability:

  • Creating a centre of excellence within the Chamber Network.
  • Building sustainability in the network.

Campaigns and communication:

  • Enhancing the brand and external perception of British business.
  • Communicating the value of the Global Business Network (GBN).
  • Developing network wide campaigns.

We will finish up by agreeing a plan of action for the Chamber Network in 2020. All attendees are invited to join BCC for dinner at 19:00.

Wednesday 16 October: National Assembly and AGM

Time: 09:30 (National Assembly) and 14:00 (AGM)

Venue: etc.venues, County Hall, Riverside Building, Belvedere Road, Lambeth, London SE1 7PB.

The National Assembly will bring together Regional Assembly representatives from across the Chamber Network to help set priorities for BCC’s policy, representation and campaign work on behalf of Chambers and their members.

Ahead of this meeting, we will provide a summary of key points and actions from the Regional Assembly meetings held during the first half of 2019 which will provide background on actions to date and guide our discussions on the day.

Thursday 17 October: International Trade Summit

Time: Registrations from 08.30am

Venue: Hilton London Bankside, 2-8 Great Suffolk Street, London SE1 0UG

The International Trade Summit is designed to give businesses, whatever stage of their international trade journey, help to take their business to the next level.

Join 600 delegates for an exciting programme of lively panel discussions, inspirational keynote speeches and interactive practical workshops. This year’s overarching theme is “Trading in a Time of Uncertainty” and key themes will include:
