Early of the morning on 1st March 2018, the 2017 Business of the Year, AnyJunk, joined the British Chambers of Commerce for the unique experience of opening trading at the London Stock Exchange as we launched the 2018 Chamber Business Awards programme.
Among the guests present at this exciting event were Jason Mohr, Founder and CEO of AnyJunk, Adam Marshall, Director General of the BCC, Justine Greening, AnyJunk’s local MP, and Marcus Stuttard, Head of AIM at the London Stock Exchange. (Pictured below)
The honour of opening trading was the prize awarded to AnyJunk for winning ‘Business of the Year’ at the 2017 Annual Chamber Business Awards. Jason Mohr said, “It’s wonderful to be here today. It’s a huge honour for me and for the whole team to be invited… Everyone at AnyJunk is extremely proud to have been recognised in this way. To have been chosen from hundreds of companies across the UK is a huge honour and one we’ll do our very best to live up to. Getting to open the London Stock Exchange is definitely the icing on the cake.”
Applications are now open for this year’s awards, and on the 29th November a new winner will be crowned. Not only will the winner get the opportunity to open trading at the Stock Exchange, but they also get the added prize of working with RADA in Business for a day’s communication skills and impact course.
The Chamber Business Awards are an opportunity for businesses with something special to shout about, a story to tell, or great staff, to be showcased on a national scale. Businesses interested in winning this great prize can learn more and enter on the website www.chamberawards.co.uk.
