Step into an exciting opportunity at the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) as the Partnership Delivery Manager during maternity cover. You’ll play a vital role in delivering our key high-impact events and partnerships that fuel the BCC’s influence across the UK.

Account management

  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver an outstanding partner experience.
  • Operate as the lead contact for high-value corporate partners to maximise retention.
  • Maintain strong, long-lasting strategic relationships.

 

Commercial delivery

  • Manage the delivery of activity funded by our corporate partners to include*:
    • Research outputs o Co-branded publications
    • Promotional campaigns
    • Policy campaigns
    • Logistics for the Driving International Trade Conference (March)
    • Logistics for the BCC’s Annual Conference (June)
    • Events run in conjunction with our partners and Chambers of Commerce

Other

  • Work very closely with the Partnership Delivery team·
  • Work closely with the Chamber network for the execution of the commercial delivery (eg: roundtables)·
  • Establish relationships and work closely with other BCC teams (Media, Membership, Insights Unit, Chamber Customs, Marcomms, Senior Leadership Team).
  • At least 5 years’ experience in managing and retaining high-value commercial accounts.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale events, both in-person and virtual.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, including working to tight timelines, managing resources, and maintaining budgets.
  • Ability to balance and prioritise the competing needs of multiple partners.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues swiftly and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional copywriting ability and keen attention to detail.
  • Skilled at managing multiple account management projects simultaneously.
  • Confident in communicating, presenting, and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including executives and C-suite leaders.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • A team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quick to learn new software programmes.

Contract type: Fixed term

Department: Commercial

Reporting to: Head of Partnership Delivery

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, full-time.  

Location: BCC office in St James’s Park, minimum of 3 days a week.

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 pa
