Education and Enterprise
BCC and local Chambers of Commerce are committed to the educational development of young people and many Chambers are involved in a number of programmes and projects designed to bridge the gap between the world of full time education and the world of work. Working in partnership with schools, businesses and young people the aim is to improve the employability skills and interaction amongst our future generation of employees and business entrepreneurs.
These programmes and projects provide a way to promote better understanding between employers and young people so that both groups benefit.
Young Chamber and Education/School Activities
Young Chamber provides a genuine framework for students to consider work and job opportunities for the future. It also allows businesses to meet and talk directly to young people - which is an experience many benefit from and all enjoy.
