Successful start to car scrappage scheme encouraging

The UK’s “cash for bangers” scheme has secured 35,000 new orders since it was given the go-ahead a month ago. Commenting, David Frost, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) said:

”It is encouraging to see the scrappage scheme get off to a good start. Hopefully this momentum will continue providing the embattled automotive industry with a much-needed boost.”
