Businesses will benefit from £4 billion support package

Commenting on the £4 billion support package secured by the Government from the European Investment Bank, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), David Frost, said:
“Small and medium sized businesses will be pleased with this extra support as there is clearly a demand for a better flow of finance. But, we'd need some guarantees on exactly how and when this money is going to reach companies on the ground.
“The Government must ensure that accessing the support is as simple a process as possible. The last thing small businesses need is a headache trying to apply for a loan."
