A light-touch approach to flexible working is the correct way to handle right to request
14/05/08 | 14:34
Commenting on the Prime Minister's draft Queen's speech announcement on the right to request flexible working, David Frost, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, said:
"A light-touch approach to flexible working is the correct way to handle extending the right to request. The vast majority of small businesses are allowing staff to work flexibly already, and measures which might help employers retain good staff are welcome.
"We look forward to working with the Government during the consultation period of the Walsh Review to ensure that the implementation of any recommendations are not harmful to businesses."
