  • Market Selection - an objective way to choose your next export target market.
  • The application of marketing research to the export process.
  • The preparation of an export marketing research brief - establishing the terms of reference - selection and commissioning of consultants.
  • Sources and use of desk research and effective use of the internet.
  • Planning and conducting field research overseas.
  • Interviewing techniques and working with interpreters.
  • Drawing reliable conclusions.
  • The advice and support available from government, chambers and other sources.

  • determining strategy for entry into new overseas markets;
  • already experienced and successful exporters.

The training programme is structured to provide a thorough understanding of marketing research techniques whilst addressing the specific needs of individual delegates. It anticipates the pitfalls and stumbling blocks of both conducting research in-house and in using market research agencies and gives practical and authoritative solutions.

This highly acclaimed two-day training course empowers ITAs and the like to advise clients on the conduct and use of marketing research when exploring new overseas markets.
