How will you protect your business?
The British Chambers of Commerce is working in partnership with the Central Sponsor for Information Assurance (CSIA) in the Cabinet Office, to raise awareness of how you can safeguard your business information by implementing sound management practice.
To raise awareness and support local business, the partnership will be running a series of seminars, sponsored by CSIA via the accredited Chamber network with a focus on critical issues such as computer viruses, preventing data theft, staff policies and procedures and how to manage security incidents.
Why should you attend?
As the numbers of websites, e-mails and electronic files increase, and the ways to access them become more flexible, the threat to your IT infrastructure mounts.
Statistics show that risks to information security are very real. If you are serious about managing information risk for your business the most important step you can take is to understand the risks faced. This seminar will enable you to assess and understand the risks for your business and will help you to establish appropriate risk management strategies.
