Andy Watterson is the BCC Fellow for the Digital Economy, supporting the Chamber Network’s national policy work around Digital Connectivity, Skills, and Cyber Security.

Andy leads on Business Crime and Cyber Security for the East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire Nottinghamshire Leicestershire), where he works with members and strategic partners, including the police and local authorities, to combat all aspects of business crime including theft, fraud and cybercrime. In addition to this, Andy also contributes to the Chamber’s wider policy activities across the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, in particular city centres engagement, and access to broadband.

As a business generalist, Andy helps members to take a 360 degree view of their organisation, and to explore ways of working in a more secure manner without compromising efficiency, especially in the adoption of new technologies.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Andy spent 15 years working as a Commercial Manager in the Automotive and Engineering sectors.
